Taurine is an essential amino acid for cats and plays a critical role in ocular and cardiovascular health. Although not considered an essential amino acid for dogs, Taurine supports cardiovascular, and eye health in canines and is useful in the treatment of dogs with Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM).
